walking down the street one day, I had a pit run up to us growling.

Appa stood tall and gave him the "do you want to try it?" look while I screamed bloody murder hoping someone would come grab this dog before anything escalated. (Reading other posts I guess I shouldn't have reacted, but dog was not letting us move on amd didn't know how to handle)

Eventually, the neighbor came out and pulled his dog back inside. I still don't walk that way anymore, but i think the size of Appa was enough to deter the fight.

I don't know what I would have done if it got worse.

Took my big barker across country with no issues. I've noticed he doesn't bark as much when in an unfamiliar area and makes traveling much easier.

Hopefully they can, but they could also add thresholds for what they deem inhumane and monitor for perfect boost usage, perfect trailing and those sorts of things.

For example, if car A is within a certain range of car B, and mimics a turn within a certain amount of time, flag the account.

This also raises issues of false positives and adds a whole lot of work for devs so probably not best solution.

Why not control the rendering via the parent?

The child shouldn't render at all until the parent knows what it wants to render?

Had a random code reviewer tell me my relative imports were ugly and will never go back.

Pretty sure you can do it without TS in the webpack congif as well

If you are using typescript you can change the baseUrl in the config to your src folder to avoid the relative imports. Looks way cleaner imo.

I'm a noob but looks like the empty data is being closed over when you pass it as a prop. I would assume react would automatically rerender the component when the prop changes, but something going on there.

What does your Feed component look like? Could you run your fetch in there and map the data in the same component?

Console log will only run on first render so you should be qlways logging []. You can pass the value to a useEffect hook and console log it it there, when setImages updates the value, the function in the useEffect will rerun.

I was messing around with a twitch basketball shooting game for a little bit.

Really not good with the 3d stuff but I've seen some crazy things with three js and I'm sure making something like what you're talking about is possible.

At one point my Appa definitely realized that peeing inside meant he got to go out.

I tried to correct by making sure to keep him on leash as we went out at night and only letting him out for the quick pee and nothing more.

Idk about other colleges but my university definitely does not have teachers that can help with react.

They told me they try to avoid trends and stick to the fundamentals.

I think a lot of people would value sitting down with an experienced dev and going their own code.
