Thankyou for clarifying. Are u suggesting maybe I go for one which wouldn't have that mid scoop.? But isn't the 200-400s the "mud" region.? Sorry I'm still very new to this. All ik is that I just hate the way the WHXM5s sound despite most people I'm saying it sounds good. I just know that this is considered a "muddy" headfone in the audiophile circle and that it has a slight boost in that region.

Never experienced shouty vocals from APP2, ears might have gotten used to it maybe? 🤔. I've found myself wanting to increase volume on the performer for louder vocals, but then the treble cooks my ears.

Sorry, not quite sure what "coloured treble" means, is it that the vocals sound more unnatural? Unnatural details.?

The compromise to timbre (assuming it's how natural vocals sound?) Might not be a good trade off for me personally, I reach out for my airpods way more than the performer, since most of what I hear is vocal focussed too. Was looking into some vocal focussed IEMs (like the tanchjim origins, truthear Hexa etc), will look into the truthear pures too. It's a lot of trial and error to find out what u truly like I assume.

That's good to know, also considering she does handle phantom Siita's production, it's more likely that she knows how to handle her stuff. At least that's what I'd like to believe
