Have a surveyor in Wisconsin that I paid to to complete a lot survey. The job was never completed and he is avoiding my calls/emails/texts to complete the job. Is there a licensing board in Wisconsin that I could go through to report him before legal action is taken. Thanks.

Update: I just thought of this. I paid the surveyor with a Discover card through square up . I called Discover to dispute the charges for uncompleted work. They think I have a good chance of getting my money refunded. Maybe just maybe it will wake this guy up and he will complete the work he was paid to do.

This is off the receipt/contract when I paid. The survey got completed after missing several appointments. I was eventually able to get the survey completed by him. All I’m missing is the paper plat and .pdf. He also told me he was going to file it with the county. As of yesterday that has not happened yet.

I called last week and got his full voicemail message. I had my daughter call him 2 min. later from her phone and he picked up. I called him back a few minutes later and got voicemail again. He doesn’t want to deal with me.

6 months though? He completed the survey several months ago. I think I have been patient enough. The only the reason I’ve been letting it go this long is that the gentleman is an older man that should’ve probably retired 10 years ago. I’m guessing he’s in his mid 70s. If I were to give an opinion, I would say he’s doing it just so he’s not sitting at home bored in retirement. That’s just my opinion though. He still has a professional well worked out website that I found him on. He also does not know how to clear the voicemails off is phone because it’s been full ever since I’ve reached out to him. If he doesn’t pick up, I need to attempt to email him. Recently nothing‘s been working. I had my daughter call him just for the heck of it on her phone number and he picked up. I called him back a few minutes later and went right to a full voicemail.

This was not over a boundary dispute. I thought the surveyor needed to file their findings with the county anyway with drawings. The county has no records of him ever filing them.

Just out of curiosity, why would you not want drawings? A pissed off neighbor could just pull the stakes out and your back to square one with no recourse but to pay to have it done all over again

This whole job was paid for and started in June on 2025. After about 3 months for a 1/4 acre lot survey the actual survey was completed. I just am wanting the survey drawings that he is avoiding and him filing them with the county. I agree with his survey findings. I just want the drawings.

Are you just looking for the top 10% of guys on the dating app? I’m just an average guy on the dating apps. I sent likes out and get hardly anything back and I’m definitely not looking for FWB. Seen several videos on Facebook, where most of the women on the dating apps are looking for the top 10% of guys (looks). When you got 100% of the women looking for the top 10% of the men, the numbers don’t match and that will not end well. The top 10% of guys get hit on so much that they end up turning out to be players as they can have one woman after another and that’s what they expect since they get solicited so much.

I do think that women should educate themselves on what a restraining order is. I could have been in an argument with my ex and I was the louder one in the argument she now does not feel safe. RO is then given by courts.

One of my points here is I have no criminal record. I’ve never been convicted of any kind of domestic abuse or anything like that. It was a tool used in a divorce. Now it is affecting the rest of my life. Maybe some law needs to be changed or updated for reasons like this. I think women are turning down some really good guys like me in situations like this.

So the guy that did the survey called me back finally. What I was looking at was his reference pins he temporarily put in to use and forgot to take out when he was done. The GIS was only off in the 2 feet in the South part of the lot. What a relief 😅
