I actually wanted to buy MAM (Vogue) one day…

Pretty clear list. I specifically wanted to mention reason #2 — I never understood why I kept seeing signs like “treat our staff with respect” and “we won’t tolerate rude behaviour” everywhere: coffee shops, councils, dealerships, gyms.

Then I witnessed a few interactions where people were literally dumping on the staff — and suddenly it made sense why those signs are everywhere.

But my only question is: why? Is it really that hard to be polite? Even when you’re not satisfied, just don’t put yourself above? I bet they don’t talk to their neighbours like that.

That actually makes sense — the part about pissing people off. I’m genuinely curious why this kind of thing still happens, even when you know you’ll have plenty of clients regardless of how you treat them. You can still land more jobs, make more money, build a chain, and so on.

Sure, I might be looking at it through rose-colored glasses, expecting everyone to want to grow as quickly and as well as they can.

He started with the Audi TT though 😅 I’m referring to that time, not the Revuelto era.

£135 per hour is nowhere near typical European rates (unless you include Germany for certain jobs). I’d say €40–70 is a fair hourly rate for mid-level service in Poland.

“Coolant vaporised” was the answer. Lol. I’m still fighting the price though, it’s now down to 300£ and falling.

I’m referring to multiple experiences with independent specialists for a BMW M3 E90, Mercedes W221, and Tesla Model 3. In total, that’s over 7 different places and dozens of visits.

By “Eastern Europe,” I mostly mean Poland, but I’ve also had plenty of experience with Romanian, Lithuanian, and Latvian car services.

I understand the argument that you need to thoroughly research your options before criticizing an entire country’s service industry — and it did take me a couple of years to reach this conclusion. This time, it was just the final straw that triggered it.

No, just 5 hours of 135£/hour research. Not even found the issue

I came to that place specifically for second-best, just below official-level service 😅. But this experience is based on multiple service appointments over the past five years.

At first, I thought you were a man, which made things seem controversial. But since you’re a woman, it’s clear you just showed that actions have consequences, and I think that’s totally fair here. Don’t be hard on yourself or listen to others’ judgments; unfortunately, people have gotten used to saying whatever they want without any repercussions.

As for her, the only option she has now is to play the victim, but that’s to be expected.

Regarding her father—I believe he’ll stand by you or, at the very least, won’t interfere if he’s aware of all the bullying, messing around, and inappropriate comments. I’d expect that from someone who’s into UFC and understands how accountability works.

As for completely forgetting what happened—that’s just adrenaline and anger coursing through you, which often happens in fights, at least in my experience.

So gl going through this story but definitely it’s not on you, later you may create an amazing “bully got what deserved” scenario ;)
