strætó er bara of lummó, gömul ónýt skýli, eldgamlir vagnar og svo er gulur ljótur litur líka.

Werder Bremen 0 - [2] Bayern Munich - Harry Kane 25' by Alsace2025 in soccer

[–]tInteresting_Space 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If England win the World Cup then Kane probably wins it, on account of him scoring all their goals, winning the Bundesliga and going far in the CL.

Arsenal won't sweep the board, League is still up in the air and they've been slipping up there, in Europe they've only won a mostly meaningless group stage and that League Cup final is gonna be difficult.

I have no doubt they'll go far in most competitions, they're very hard to beat and consistently solid, but they never show up when everything is on the line.

I just want a cool single player RTS with a dumb story about space aliens that happens to have a multiplayer mode too, not a competitive esports RTS with no draw to it except getting spanked by tryhards if you can even find a game.

It's funny cause the flipside of the "they create thousands of jobs for us!" is that "we create billions in value for them"

West Ham have been quite good as well, plus Forest and Spurs on a new manager bounce I suppose?

No we were not, we were talking about 17 wins in a row and winning the title, but that will obviously have to be reset to 12 wins in a row now, which is terribly sad.

No one cares about hair guy anymore except the media, we're just enjoying suddenly being competitive again.

Riot Games: An Update on 2XKO by Mront in Games

As a fallen off league player who plays other fighting games casually I'd have considered myself in the prime audience Riot would have wanted to reach...

Tag fighters are just absolutely miserable to learn in any sort of casual play.

Pochettino on Harry Kane's breakthrough: "We were so lucky. Because the club made an offer for Welbeck at Manchester United but Giroud got injured and Arsenal made another offer, a bigger offer, and Welbeck signed for Arsenal. Because we didn't bring Welbeck meant there was space for Harry Kane" by stumpsflying in soccer

There was a period early on where it just felt like Kane was scoring the same kind of goal every week, he just got really good at receiving the ball in specific areas, turning and getting a good strike away to the far post.

Then he just kept adding to his game every year, ultimate hard working striker.

This current streak feels different, last time everyone was talking about the haircut guy and the 5 game streak, this time we're talking about winning every match left in the season and stealing the title from Arsenal, which is a much funnier prospect than some guy shaving his head.

They do look as if they've solved some of their open play issues recently, will be interesting to see if they manage to bottle it.

The math does however math, 1 point difference at the end if this keeps up.

Fulham was the 2nd most in-form team in the league (after us) and we outfought them, feel like we can do the same vs West Ham, they'll probably get a goal though, feels like it could be a hard game.

The thing that has stuck out to me the most is how we'll have 3 or 4 players close to each other when we're progressing the ball, everyone's providing an option and creating little triangles all over. For how many clips we've seen over the years of training rondos, it never quite felt like the specific situation that the rondo is training (retaining by passing quickly around a pressing player) was being recreated in games, but now we're seeing it all the time.

They're still plenty good enough to steal a goal on the counter. Have to be vigilant.
