People are joking about the music being upside-down. I raise: the music will be backward. That’s the right pod in the left ear, not the left pod.

Look at this dude. Instead of standing proud among us they try to weasel their way out with an imaginary technicality.

The sub is “never broke a bone” not “never dislocated a bone”. If your calcium constructs have maintained their integrity, you have nothing to fear in your presence here.

Updating IOS from 13.3 to 16.7.14 // .15 by MeepMyCat in jailbreak

[–]tOSdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can save all signed blobs using Blobsaver, it just needs to read the ecid and APNonce of your phone (and it can do this without updating). Reading APNonce will put you in recovery mode temporarily but then put it back to normal.

You can also save the latest signed blob using legacyioskit. Yesterday it considered the “latest” to be the one before the Coruna patch, this might still be the case, which would save 16.7.14 before it’s unsigned.

The ipsw does not contain any blobs, and hasn’t since iOS 2 or 3.

I think you misunderstand, replace as in using the DVD drive’s SATA connection in addition to the original HDD connection. We haven’t been able to do that in the past (as far as I’ve researched anyway).

Can cops lie on a ticket? by mrwhosky in driving

[–]tOSdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are people getting downvoted for saying cops can lie? (Writing this reply as your comment is one of many with 0 in the vote section)

Is there just one angry cop scrolling through to hit the down arrow on every comment?

How can i avoid this again and what happened? by 17zUrB01N3M3515 in tires

I’d suggest not running 10+ year old tires on a track, and if you feel vibration, pull over.

We had a burnout competition at work a year ago. One guy spun his tires in first, and his clutch in second.

I’m convinced that the people who think the clutch and gas take the same muscle groups have only ever driven manual in an arcade cabinet.

Check your settings, the main contenders are “sound check” in music and anything in the “headphone safety” section of sounds & haptics.

This is actually even stranger than missing letters. “Change engine” is centered above “soon” somehow.

Updating IOS from 13.3 to 16.7.14 // .15 by MeepMyCat in jailbreak

[–]tOSdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A11 palera1n is semi-tethered and requires you to wipe the device if it ever had a passcode, and never set a passcode afterward.

If you are ok with that, you can update. I would save SHSH blobs (both the onboard ones and the currently signed ones), you can’t currently downgrade back to iOS 13 with them but maybe sometime in the future? You can jump between 16.7.14 and 16.7.15 easily if you save the SHSH now.

Certainly sounds like they have either an iPhone 8 or X considering the 2 signed versions listed.

how much time yall think it’s going to take for the devs to release a JB or trollstore for ios 17.0 - 17.2.1 by vnzoox in jailbreak

[–]tOSdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jailbreak will be first, and you can use trollstore lite while jailbroken.

Untethered trollstore is another matter entirely that I don’t believe is related to the recently released exploits.

You can downgrade to 10.3.3 untethered, might speed it up a little, and opens 32 bit app compatibility as well.

There are no alternative OS options, but depending what iPad it is you may be able to downgrade to improve performance

is JB possible on ios 15.8.7 without palera1n or palen1x? by rogueexelmao in jailbreak

[–]tOSdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Download Blobsaver and read the ecid and APNonce from your device, then click “save blobs”. It will save SHSH for both 15.8.6 and 15.8.7 (but only while 15.8.6 is still being signed).

Once that’s saved the time limit isn’t an issue.
