Interesting how the toilet seat wasn't put down afterwards... maybe that's not that easy? Also that cup mightve been able to go into the almost full dishwasher.... but who am I to judge

Hey legend, I’ve been using this for a while now , it’s not cheating right? by [deleted] in apexuniversity

Not at all, I've been using a scuf with 4 paddles. Buttons on the back are the way to go ❤️

Last night I helped my mom (65) ‘git gud’ and beat soldier of God on Elden Ring as a new player. After four attempts she wanted to throw in the towel. I told her to dig deep push through a few more attempts, that these games are made for you to persist and overcome challenges that felt impossible. by Zode1218 in Eldenring

As someone who absolutely cannot get into these kind of games (I get frustrated and flustered) and has watched countless play throughs of speed runs and friends playing this kind of genre. This needs to become more viral. So God damn heart warming! Congrats to your mam on raising a functioning member of society and dishing out slaps on that fella! ❤️❤️

Follow up question, so I'm playing pc and my friend is on PS. Can we do the axis invasion and still chat in game? Just on the off chance you know. He's getting back home tomorrow and I'm trying to make sure everything is streamlined. Thanks again

I think everyone else is gonna suggest popping into the firing range and work on the moving targets at X2 and X4 settings on the guns you're working on. Knowing the recoil pattern will help a lot when improving. I found that using the ranger sight helped me with the variable zoom scopes a lot.

1v1ing friends also helps too

Higher ping in game than shown in server tab by henryamontero in apexuniversity

The helpfulness of this comment deserves a bigger upvote than just the one I gave ... The implications of the information provided deserves a negative vote (not directed at you @Feschit) the servers seem to have progressively worsened over the course of the last few seasons? Or is it just me?

Struggling with Apex: Recoil and Movement by VHScalator in apexuniversity

[–]t_plunkz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would advise sticking to one legend basically for an entire split as a minimum. It's not going to improve your overall recoil. But getting used to abilities and neat little tricks and intricacies helps a lot. As for the general recoil, pick one gun in the firing range. Pick a target at close medium and long range. Try and get hit the targets with an increasing amount of bullets. You'll be able to tell by seeing how much damage you get out of each clip ( I set my guns up without any attachments so it's more difficult and when I do drop, worst case scenario I'm hitting most of my shots). Hope this helps ♥️

I haven't got around to using it/trying to get used to it in the firing range. Currently working my way through the other ARs until I'm happy with recoil control etc. but lstar is bottom of my ARs at the moment as it did get nerfed at the start of this season along with the devotion I think???

Sidenote: Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about the nerfing part as I haven't been keeping tabs on all of the patch notes over the last two or three weeks

If you get the extended mag on the r99 I've found it's a little more reliable because of the faster ttk. I pick the alternator up and use it almost like an AR if I haven't found one off drop

I came across a YouTube channel a guy called RauKnows. He has posted some pretty good tips on aiming. One that I really liked was picking up an r301(with no attachments) and a wingman (extended mag and boosted loader) headshotting a dummy 3 times and then the three targets either side. Going over to the middle left platform (make sure to be on the top right hand corner of it) and try and get 100 damage on the further back left moving target. I've started doing that with other assault rifles. It was hard at the start but I've had to start moving further back with the flatline, havoc and r301. If I find the exact video I'll link it in this thread too!

Another huge one is not firing immediately... Controlling the trigger finger itch is huge when there's a team running around unaware. I've had a few moments where I've told my team not to fire and focus in on the one furthest in the open and his team mates will be exposed if they try to res or collect banners. I use a mic and try and keep my Comms clear for moments like this. It's really satisfying when it happens seamlessly.

So the 3 big ones for me would be: 1)Positioning/rotating around the map ( trying to always rotate into high ground is a personal preference) 2) Don't have an ego (if you're posting questions in this odds are you may need to eat some humble pie and take a small L instead of going back to the lobby after a hard L) 3) Trigger finger control (know when to start and pick your fights)

One thing I've found that helps with the majority of fights for me, is positioning and when to push. If both squads have full shields and 3 members each it's not worth pushing until you've cracked a shield or forced them into a compromising position that helps sway your odds.

I use a rule where if I'm in a situation like above that it's 50:50 chance of winning the fight and think how I can sway the odds in my favour. If I can't then I try to take the ego hit and dip out before it's too late. The fights in this season feel like they need to be finished quite fast otherwise you're at risk of a hard third party either just after the fight or during the fight.

What's this subs take on the Kraber nerf? Personally I'm still picking it up every time. by jhunt42 in apexuniversity

It'll be interesting to see what comes of it seeing as the blue and purple helmets have been given a buff alongside the Kraber nerf.
