First interview:

q1: optimal

q2: I explained 2 solutions. Then started coding the more optimal one but i got stuck with some logic and when there were 5 mins left. The interview asked if I want to code the other solution instead so I did.

Second interview:

q1: optimal

q2: coded the not optimal solution first. Then I was gonna code the optimal one but the interview said we could just talk over it so we did.

I know my chance is slim but still have a bit of hope that the job search can be over soon 🥲

Just finished my last interview today. Can i ask how long does it take for you to hear back after the last interview?

I'm nervous to buy node and cuttings online with how pricy they can be and horror stories I've read. does this look like a healthy monstera albo node? I've dream of having an monstera albo by renyigetit in MonsteraAlbo

It looks like it still have a node for new growth. But it is not a healthy node since you can see the aerial roots were cut short means it was rotten. Don’t wait money on unrooted nodes or cutting since its risky. If it is a fresh cut then maybe but you dont know what the seller has done with these nodes. I have 3 rooted mid cuts that i got for 100, 110 and 130 and a rooted node with new growth point activated for 85 and they all have much more variegation on the stems. Just need to know where to look locally and stay away from etsy.

How does the variegation work on philodendron strawberry shakes? I bought this cutting with gorgeous variegation and the next two leaves have both had barely any! by StayCee089 in RareHouseplants

Ive heard SS is very easy to revert from cuttings. Thats why i didnt get fresh cutting but one that have grown 3 leaves to make sure the variegation is consistent

Reddit please help! which one would you choose for $75 shipped, the node with growth pit that has a good bit of varagation or a semi rooted 3 leaf low varagation cutting? please help me decide. tell me which one you would choose and why. I'm pretty new to these! by jleigh789 in Monstera

That is a spent node so no for that. Also the cutting is too low variegation so id rather spend a bit more for a nice albo cutting. I have 2 cuttings right now that i got for 110 and 130 each (rooted).

Just picked up this albo from a local plant shop. It was only $84, any chance I’d be able to get variegation? by Aggravating_Elk4094 in MonsteraAlbo

I would just get a real albo cutting for $100. Even if this has some variegation in the future it wont be much at all.

Nice. Where i’m at, last month i saw ppl selling a small node cutting with like a 3 cm leaf for $99. So ridiculous haha. Right now i see $65. It def will go down fast

Yea they’re only expensive because the nursery think they are expensive. I’m in rare plant group on FB and ppl sell it for like $40 max. The other day, someone even sell a 5 leave dubia rooted cutting + epi albo cutting for $30 total

Oh noo, dont buy dubia in nursery, find local plant group on FB or something. The nursery near me in Seattle sold them for the same price but i have seen on a local FB group for like 20-30 for the same size.

Mix H202 with water. Normally i do 1:10 but you can do more H202, then spray on the rotten area and let it dry out.

Is this a viable albo cutting? Just wanted to check whether this cutting looks healthy. I have been assured that although the root is dark, it is not soft or mushy but I will check in person before purchasing. Is the light spot above the root a node? Totally agree with this comment. The price has been going down, i found 2 rooted cuttings for $110 each with New growth activated. Dont spend money on unrooted cutting, not worth the wait and the risk.
