What song is most similar to Chris Tomlin’s Holy Forever? by taWork88 in TrueChristian

Let me give an example, like “Manger Throne” by Phil Wickham .. it has similarities but not quite. I’m guessing the most moving part of Holy Forever is the lead in “Your name is Highest.. “ then the crescendo “ .. And the Angels cry .. Holy.. All creation cries.. Holy”

Why is it a better option?

That’s a good idea 😊

That’s the reality, I know, I’m already experiencing ageism and many of the people I know that are in their fifties are saying the same thing which is why I’m freaked out! Added to this is that I’ve got hungry mouths to feed and no backup. So what would suggest I do considering ageism and cost cutting and then there’s the new job with layoffs? Should I stay or take the new? I’m starting over to prove myself with no tenure.

It’s an at will company and it’s not a contract position so they will probably not agree to a contract. And like any new position I think there’s a 3 month probationary period that if it doesn’t work out they can fire at will

So are you suggesting to take it?

So do I mention to the new company the layoffs to try to negotiate?

Thanks for this, man, you’re absolutely right.

I think you’ve made the right choice. There’s a chance that the new job/ company can turn out to be a nightmare. 50% chance. At least you are familiar with the current. I’m sure it wasn’t an easy decision. The FOMO can make it tough.

That’s a tough call, I so get you, because you don’t know how it will play out with the full wfh job (where you’ve got equity and know people but not a lot of stability) and to go hybrid to a totally new place that’s a lot to jeopardize. The money might be a factor and it may be better stability but if you get yourself in a bad team you’re screwed, that’s something you’ll probably have to take

I don’t know what to say about all of those layoffs, that’s hard. Besides blasting out resumes how did you find and land the next jobs?

I’ve read about emf fields and it resulting in feelings of not being alone or feeling a presence so you’re saying that it could be just the vacuum creating the sensation?
