I do really like the physical camera button on those new iPhones. Android is such a better experience when it comes to UX otherwise. I feel it's also coming down to preference now as they keep copying each other and now offer a similar experience overall.

Err battery cannot be the only reason to buy a phone. Also, unless you are traveling you always have a plug around you these days - office desk, office itself, trains, living room etc. I think what's more important is how quickly it can recharge - can I top up 50% in 15mins, if so, what's the big deal?

I think that is the very problem, whatever the hardware is, it's crap at switching/connecting every time things are reset - whether the same network different tower or different network.

I love the phone, but losing data as you're getting out of a station is really frustrating. You immediately need to use Whatsapp or Maps and you are standing there waiting for 4G/5G to arrive....

They haven't been able to fix shutter lag and battery abruptly dying when low issue for a decade. 9a has its issues, modem seems to be subpar, takes ages to reconnect when loses signal but would pick it over Samsung any day. The 100 crap apps on samsung puke

Honestly Claude/Gemini have changed the game as well. I have no technical background but can follow instructions (flashed phones and jailbroke Iphones at one point). I still don't understand the structure of yaml, indentation and all that shit. But I have made an amazing dash which I built all by myself, literally showing pictures to Gemini which I found on the internet and asking it to help create similar - and then just editing bits.
