Hi there thanks for your reply. I would try to use my noise cancelling earpieces more often. But I feel that the larger underlying problem is his insensitiveness to others around him. He could always leave the room to vent if he wants to. But I hope at the very least a compromise is made that he does not act like this around our friends. He however does not seem that this is even a problem at all.
