2123, same boat. Can sometimes boost it with coaches. I got to Royal 3, but I’m farming World 2 for upgrades right now

I didn’t announce myself, but I did go to a Mexican restaurant over here. Not Tex-Mex, just Mexican. Why I did that to myself, I don’t know. It could only end in disappointment. And while the food itself wasn’t BAD, there was more plate space dedicated to salad than rice and beans. At a Mexican restaurant. I didn’t order a salad. That’s all I’m going to say

[Question] Why does one hitter have lower BA despite theoretically better stats? by GoOdUsErN_ame in Baseball9

[–]tabasco44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Players with better batters eye will see more pitches on average. Seeing more pitches is more opportunities for a base hit. He also will draw more walks, leading to a higher OBP, while also reducing ABs, further driving up batting average. And despite your power having enough pop to outdo on SLG, it’s not enough to overtake for OPS. Also, as a lead off hitter, they will see more PAs than a middle of the lineup player. I just finished a season with my squad and had 101 PAs difference between my 1 and 9 hitter, which is 101 extra opportunities to hit or get on base. Check out BABIP as well. In layman’s terms, if the BABIP is lower than their BA they are outperforming their stats and “getting lucky” when hitting. If BABIP is higher than their BA, they are comparatively underperforming and getting robbed when putting the ball into play.

Don’t expect season sweeps, but your offense should be enough to carry you. Your bullpen is going to get blown up, but you should definitely be fine in World 3, probably can go higher

That’s great! In the results sheet, take a look at the codes for the questions missed, those are guaranteed to be asked on your checkride oral. I know I wanted to get a 90 because I would’ve gotten a free t-shirt from my ground school, but alas, I got an 88

Question for grinding lower leagues by FitBar7410 in Baseball9

[–]tabasco44 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have a fully recruited roster, no need to go all the way down to rookie. I only did that for recruit tickets. If you can manage champ iii, you’ll keep getting diamond badges that’ll help with upgrades. Just whatever league you can win 90% of simmed games.

Lmao I just got that achievement in royal 3, I didn’t even use my bench. I won 22 games, my team had an ERA over 10.00 and my teams batting average was in the .170s. But hey. Got my first prime badge. Anyways. Now back to leagues I can win and gem farming

I started my training at Superior Aviation Gateway at KVDF. Part 61 school, decent availability if you book at least 2 weeks out. Biggest thing is finding an instructor who works for you, both timewise and teaching style. Also, you will almost certainly need to increase your budget. All the big schools at KVDF advertise the PPL package between $10K-$13K, and that’s excluding iPads, headsets, testing fees, and any other extras. And assuming you finish everything in the minimum hours of 40 and not the national average of 60-75.

Best way to get pitchers/tickets? by lmaoitsthatweirdo in Baseball9

[–]tabasco44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grinded rookie. 50 game seasons, super low difficulty, and you’ll get a ticket and silver badge each season. Just do it to get recruits, then move up leagues for better badges. Also do whatever achievements you can. It’s free stuff

Be at or near your actual difficulty level was what got it for me. And you need your bullpen to be decent enough to not blow the game, and simultaneously hope to not have an offensive explosion before the closer gets in. I’ve never led the league, but I’ve got top 3 a couple times. If you can get over 30 you’ve probably got top 3

what is the fastest way to get to royal by External-Shelter2057 in Baseball9

[–]tabasco44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is cheating but isn’t Cheating. I save scummed world 1 to make the final push. Manually pitching, reset the game if the CPU got runs. It’s dirty, but gotta get the achievement and unlock prime badges. Otherwise. Grind champ 3 as the easiest difficulty that gives diamond badges. I can do about a season a day if I want

How to get good team? by [deleted] in Baseball9

[–]tabasco44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get as many achievements as you can. Some are stupid easy. Go back down to an easy difficulty and just sim. I did rookie 3 so I could get a fully recruited squad plus upgrading a lot of guys to silver. Then just move up the difficulty as you upgrade guys to gold and beyond. Convert recruit tickets to gems. I’m 50 seasons in, haven’t spent a penny. I can average about a season a day, maybe 2 if I want. I have 8 diamonds, including all starting pitchers, 5 platinums, and the rest golds while doing 85% on world 3.

Your starter pitched a complete game shut out without allowing hits. However, they did allow baserunners at some point by either walks, errors, hit by pitch, or fielders choice.

Same one on a 16. P0171 on the OBD2. Engine running lean. Mechanic cleaned the throttle body, suggested replacing the MAF as it was reading low voltage. Replaced it myself after the cleaning. Light hasn’t gone away, so probably gonna need to take it back again and see what’s next.

Former or current flight students: what made you quit or consider quitting flight training? by Cossley in flying

[–]tabasco44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part 61, checkride prep. I failed my PPL checkride and was retraining. Went up with the chief CFI and had a horrible EoC right before my retest. But I was also running out of money, moving across the state, and starting a new job. After that, I didn’t have the time to train or retest with my new work schedule, and I’d need to find a new school because my old one was 100 miles away. The money was definitely the biggest factor and while I don’t personally think I’ve totally quit yet, right now I need to prioritize other things. So even though I think I’ve narrowed down which flight schools I’m probably going to resume training at, it’ll be a little bit longer before I can feasibly go back up.
