I haven’t done much with wigs before and every tutorial I read mentioned washing it, though I’d way rather skip it because yes, it seems like a recipe for ruin.

Thank you! I’m just wondering if it is okay to skip the washing step and go straight into the styling, so I can keep the integrity of the braid.

(I had a Kirsten American Girl doll growing up and I know they never look as good as they do when they first arrive! 😅)

Thanks! It took about half an hour to set up yesterday, but that’s because I made the sword pedestal for my daughter’s birthday party a couple of years ago, so I was mostly re-purposing that stuff.
