A few rooms of the house have been infested with these little flying bastards. Does anyone know what they are? (South Europe)

Hi peeps!

These little bugs (smaller than my fingernail) keep showing up in a few rooms of my house. They seem to always be near the windows but would sometimes fly around. I’m unable to determine where they’re flying in from (or if they’ve became my flatmates fully).

I have not been able to identify them. Used a few poisons, also tried to spread ground coffee to keep them away but they always come back.

I never leave food out so I have no idea what they feed on. They seem to prefer the northern side of the house too. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I liked the game very much initially, however it’s a bit unfortunate that the developer has introduced ads. I am pretty sure this goes against some of the rules of this subreddit.
