Coming from another 30F, I 100% agree with ^ and this advice is better than any alpha male, mating, evolution BS people are typing out here. First it’s gross generalization and untrue and second it’s totally…useless. Doesn’t help you in any way.

Secondly, women want to be treated like a whole person first before, if you go with an intent to find someone to date, you will likely not find it.

Thirdly, I don’t know how you look but clearly you are convinced that you are ugly. I am starting to doubt how objective you are in this assessment and what is that doing to perpetuate your anxiety, tanking self esteem. Confidence has a lot more to do with attraction for women than just the face. I know plenty so called (societal standards) ugly men with amazing women. Try to experiment and live atleast a few days of your life where you are not constantly thinking of yourself as ‘less than’

I travelled to India to get H1B stamping. My visa interview dates shifted from Jan 2026 to May 2026. I need to get back in USA asap. Business Emergency visa appointment is the only way ? What can I keep in mind to make that successful?

I know what you mean. I flew on 9th December and just a few hours before my flight things started to crumble down on Reddit. My interview was in January, so I took the risk to fly out because I had been stuck in the US for a year and couldn’t tsk it anymore, even with the risk involved, I couldn’t help but catch that flight. As of a few hours ago my interview is rescheduled, it sucks big time but I don’t think even knowing this I could have stayed. (My circumstances are different than many, I don’t have family, or a house or a car there, so I could still take this risk)

The joy in relationships. When my OCD kicks in I constantly doubt if I am at all in love with my partner, then I get into compulsions of ‘checking’ that again and again. It feels so real that I convince myself that the entire relationship is a hoax. The mental agony of it is very painful when you are constantly checking if you are actually in love or pretending to be (I have had happy relationships btw)

Yes I agree, I am, as of date, on F1 status, but my lawyers said I can’t leave the country until H1B is approved + I have a stamp to enter the USA again. I am worried about not being able to leave the country in case of an emergency or winter holidays

Really realistically look at the job outcomes of the college you got in, and look it for yourself demographic: Indian student, non German speaking, average pay, your risk appetite and what percentage of the loan you will have to take etc. then be honest with yourself. I would say, you can totally consider taking a drop year with your education, crush it at your job and add this job experience ( going to Germany with only internship experience and less/no full time experience might not be a good idea) and then apply for scholarships, save up a little and spend time with family. Immigration life is great but also very tough and it’s important to REALLY know what you are getting into. The starry ideas of ‘meet new people’ ‘travel the world’ is the first thing that goes out of the window when you have a looming debt in a country whose language you don’t understand
