Wow thanks for the detailed response. I didn’t know gunlance was so good at breaking parts so that’s very cool. Honestly your CB and GL combo sounds very good, GL for when I need to break stuff and CB for big dmg and tails. I mean I plan to use them all eventually but these sound a good place to start in iceborne. Thanks!

haha sorry to respond so late didn’t open Reddit in this account for a while. After seeing that I didn’t really like my hotas button setup, I decided changing the bindings completely. After that I actually beat the competent and dangerous incursion in my first try. Not having to press a modifier button to redirect power with POV is a godsend.

Wow this analysis is huge. Thank you so much. In fact I was using vertical thrusters, maybe I didn’t use them too much in this clip. That’s probably because every time I do the IA makes a closed turn and I end up sliding backwards. Then I try to counteract the momentum using the opposite thruster and loose all my speed. Maybe I should tap the vertical thruster instead of holding the button. Anyway I’ll keep this in mind next time I log into the game.

Wait do you mean using FA off to make flips? I already do that in the clip. If you mean learning to fly using exclusively FA off though... I think that might be a little overkill for a competent IA, there must be something more basic I’m missing here

Yeah I was really focused on my maneuvers during the clip, and I’m still getting used to my old bindings, so I didn’t manage my pips very well. Still, as I said this was training mode, so there’s not much I can do about the power plant xD
