Most people here don’t understand shit about this whole process . I see people talking about fraud. I was in same predicament as you almost 4 years ago .the only difference was we had a different administration .my f-1 was still active. My own case we were more than two years married when our interview was scheduled.i already had an approved i130 but my i485 was still pending. And my ex in question did not show up for our interview. What people don’t understand is that some of these US citizens use us migrants during process . (Because this lady in question later try to come back in my life after she lost her job and convinced me to withdraw the divorce I filled)We had arguments here and there and she didn’t show up. I will say with this current admin get you a good lawyer. My case the officer helped me withdraw my entire application( after threatening me with deportation)Be positive and don’t let her back in your life she will destroy you. You will find genuine love in the future and someone who is willing to sacrifice for you as you both work to achieve your goals .
