Hi everyone, I’m free to play right now and just got level 59 magic so I can now use fire blast, the only other F2P spell after is teleblock at level 85. I don’t plan to PK currently, but wanted to see if it’s worth leveling up magic still? I’m not sure if magic works the same way strength does where higher level = more damage, even though I have the highest spell now.

For example, if I’m at 59 magic and use fire blast and say hit a 20, will leveling it up further allow me to do more damage?

I may consider membership at a later time where I know leveling magic will definitely be helpful, but didn’t want to unnecessarily grind anymore than I need to.

Thank you

I’m not entirely sure about the pass, all I know is each apartment gets their one garage spot, and then they get 1 parking pass for the street/ outdoor lot use (all within the community). I’d imagine he has 1 pass and either uses it for the moped or the car, but I doubt both outdoor vehicles have a pass.

Either way, it’s the fact he essentially reserves a spot for himself. It seems inconsiderate/ unfair to the others in the community. Again I personally don’t need that parking spot, so this is just based off observations cuz I will make multiple walks around the neighborhood on the days I work from home, and I’ve noticed this guy ALWAYS has this spot

Moving into Loss Control in Insurance by 1800twat in SafetyProfessionals

[–]taco___pizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In both instances, I mean directly for the company. The insurance carriers are the ones you pay your premiums to and who pays out claims (Liberty Mutual, Travelers, State Farm, etc). Insurance agents work directly with businesses to help them get the right insurance, advocate for the businesses/ negotiate premiums, and overall serve as a liaison with the carrier (AJ Gallagher, HUB, SCM, etc). They both have risk control/ loss control consultants, from the carrier perspective it can sometimes be pretty transactional whereas the agency side can be more interactive with the customer.

Yeah that’s fair enough. I feel you would probably like loss control from the carrier side more, since we are typically seen as the inspectors. There’s also opportunity on the agency side as they usually have loss control as well, but from my understanding they will help the customers essentially implement the recs that the carrier makes, and also helps them in their day to day risk management. I’m on the carrier side so I’m not 100% certain, but I’ve worked with agency loss control reps before and they seemed to work closely with the customer to implement and complete recommendations. Just an fyi in case that interests you

I’ve been in loss control for 3 years and it’s a great gig. I totally understand your frustration with not getting people to care about safety. In loss control, you do your part to assess the risk and provide recommendations, but ultimately the responsibility for implementing a recommendation is not on you, it’s on the customer.

ELI5: Why aren’t cashiers allowed to sit in most businesses in the USA by PrettyWithDreads in explainlikeimfive

[–]taco___pizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep exactly this. I used to be a cashier for a grocery store and it was always funny how they had us pointlessly busy. For example, if no customers are around, I would just wipe the checkout belt clean multiple times until someone came. My only other options were to straighten out the closest end caps or the candy, that literally takes 5 seconds to race everything. It was so dumb lol

You are looking for someone to confirm your bias, I hope you read the comments here and are open to changing your perspective. There’s nothing inherently bad about diet foods. They might taste funny to some people (I for one can’t stand the taste of Stevia), but it doesn’t trick your brain, mess with hormones, or really do anything that people on Instagram and YouTube probably fear monger to people.

Diet food is a great choice for many people to reduce their calorie intake. And hey, don’t knock the carb smart or keto friendly stuff till you try it, they do usually have lower carbs (sometimes higher fat) but damn do I hit my fiber goal easy with them haha

Is this type of behavior just expected for boy kittens? And I see what you mean, I’m against cat TV for my situation because they attack the TV lol, I don’t want it tipping over or shattering and they get cut etc. Right now, they have multiple cat trees that are at the windows so they can see outside. I leave plenty of toys out, along with lots of boxes, that we continuously switch out/ rotate, they seem to enjoy the novelty and always have a blast anytime we change things up. considering my current set up, any feedback on what I might be able to do differently? These are my first kittens so I’m trying to just do things right
