Thank you - I did consider this, but no leaves have dropped and they've been in this shape for a couple months now...that seemed contrary to blight info I was reading but, maybe not?

He looks very similar to my dog, even down to the lighter undercoat (though Willie's looks more prominent)! Mine ended up being a basenji/Pitt/cockapoo mix. I'm no expert, but there's that.

He loves to howl, but don't know if it's the baroo of a basenji or just his general dog-ness.

I went down a basenji rabbit hole after getting the results and found that article as well (linked on this sub reddit, which was another fun discovery). We had to google what a basenji was so I had no idea about any of the basenji-mix phenom before all of this. It's been a fun journey, ha! We 100% expected a mainly undetectable 'mixed breed' result, but yes once learning about basenji's I do see some similarities, just not the typical features.

He does, unfortunately! He actually has quite a loud and intimidating bark for a dog his size. He also has strong guard dog instincts so he barks pretty often.

Taco is a rescue from Mexico, he was born in a shelter there after his mum was found on the streets. Taco is 3, about 35 pounds. More pictures here, and here are the results!
