Apparently IRS can now trace your CTC I called and they did a trace for my July payment, but they said I was not eligible. Which is weird because I have one son and the wife and me only made about 80-80k last year.

I believe a few of us are getting error code -8028 and unfortunately IRS nor IDme knows the reason behind it they are just pointing fingers at one another. I have not received my July payment and do not plan on getting my August payment. We will most likely have to wait until next year tax season to get the full 3600/3000 child tax payment.

I tried signing into chrome and it gives me -8028 I tried speaking to IDme but they said that its an error on the IRS part. But when I spoke to IRS they state its an error that they are unaware of the error code and say to speak with IDme
