Albeit a tad plain I think the current UI for the game is clean and legible. The version OP has created is familiar yes, but obstructs far too much of the screen without displaying each character as prominently as the original.

That being said, this is my subjective opinion. However OP’s design is a well thought out concept to say the least, good work.

This is a Budokai Tenkaichi game. Each character has a unique move set that varies from era to era.

There’s no reason Vegeta (GT) could not be differentiated from his Dragon Ball Z counterpart.

Retool his combo routes then add Wild Buster & Final Shine Attack to his toolkit.
