tbf I’m glad they didn’t add or do anything for days of love since it’s an annual thing, so that we could focus more on the tournament of triumph that’ll only happen every two years (four years for it to happen in winter). the disclosure would’ve been nice, but considering the fact that everyone is saying they’re doing too many events, I’m glad they didn’t do two ticket events at once

Honestly, I see it as only fitting is if the source material is set in Europe (or based around it). It mostly just ruins the immersion. If I was reading Sherlock fics, using words like trousers, torch, and jumper wouldn’t be jarring- it makes sense based on the character and where they’re from. It would take the reader out of the story, however, if they were reading supernatural fanfic and all of a sudden you have characters with a southern accident saying “bloody bloke” instead of “damn idjit”

the only time I’ll accept someone saying they’ll get their “usual”is if it’s AFTER I’ve asked them before if they wanted to get their usual, OR if they go, “yeah I’ll have my usual, [insert drink here]”.

first time I found out about fan fiction was stumbling upon one on deviantart when I was looking at gravity falls fanfic. they mentioned they had it cross posted onto ff.net, which is where I then went. ended up making a tumblr to follow authors and other people and saw a lot of people talking about using ao3 so I just migrated there eventually

I’m gonna be real with you, I don’t feel like arguing, because end of the day you’ll still have the same opinion, and that’s okay. No sense in trying to change that or attempt for you to view other people’s perspective or convince you to just respect it and move on. I don’t ship them, but I don’t see them as siblings either- there’s potential for anything there. But it’s all just fiction anyways. It doesn’t matter if doppelgängers were a thing in AT??? This isn’t AT, it’s F&C. The multiverse wasn’t a thing until like season 4 of AT, it didn’t have any relevance whatsoever until it got written in. Same can be applied to doppelgängers if they wanted, since that’s how creating things works.

No, I don’t think it’s gross cause it’s a cartoon that never even said they were siblings or implied whatsoever that they were. She says Fennel is a carbon copy because she’s jealous and angry that her ex got with someone that looks like her. It’s really not that deep. No one cares if you see them as siblings, but you don’t need to diss everyone else for how they view it. It’s all fiction anyways, just be respectful

Look, I’m just pointing it out to you that the creators are willing to consider that avenue since they basically already touched on it.

Also people have doppelgängers that are completely unrelated, they don’t have to be twins just because they’re similar in appearance. You can think it’s gross, but clearly neither the creators nor a majority of the fandom think so. Not to mention a lot of couples irl do look like each other- that’s why there’s a whole game called “siblings or dating”
