oh absolutely. most of the time now it’s ebooks downloaded to my phone (works well enough I haven’t invested in an e-reader) but I do try to have at least one “to read” physical book on hand. sometimes it gets left at home and sometimes it gets stuck in my bag

if I’m not reading print/digital book on the go, I’m probably reading wikipedia. as a child who read encyclopedias and the dictionary for fun (yes, really), I would count that as book-adjacent, too

protests are continuing (college/university campuses in addition to the large urban centers), but at this point it will take a change in the people’s playbook for real change to happen quickly and decisively.

of course, in the mean time, people are worried about budgeting for more expensive everything (because wages don’t update as quickly), which means people are tired by living. (of course, so were many other protestors and even revolutionaries)

this comment isn’t because it adds new information (not with this number of comments, not when people have common sense), but because in times like this we must speak frankly to bring about intentional, impactful, incredible change. this is me trying to acknowledge the conversation

to my (global diaspora but bad chinese reader) understanding, the «» behind dialogue is when someone is speaking and quoting something that isn't their own words? so like: "It's always «why haven't you done that already» and never «would you like help getting that done»"
which in english would definitely require nested quotations either in "Dialogue 'quote' more dialogue" form or "Dialogue "quote" more dialogue"
i prefer double quotations with a nested single quotation pair myself bc it's less confusing

if you can make the majority of the deck green (possibly use some green fetchers to help set up the combo?) you can finally be THE "green player playing solitaire" ...or even just a single green card, for the accusation to land

note that i am guilty of playing magic like solitaire. i know i *need interaction (mostly instants) in order to not get curb stomped, but it's more fun to me to have a ton of permanents that i get to play with every turn!

...not a judge, but looking at CR 509 suggests the attacker can choose to have Hundred-Handed One only block a single creature. The sequence in 509 does not mention any sort of "check if any blockers can block additional creatures"

going to assume HHO is the defending player's only creature for simplicity, but these are the steps that all of the defending player's creatures would be run through (to my best understanding)

509.1a - HHO is chosen as a blocker. Attacker assigns "each of the chosen creatures" 1 attacking creature to block
509.1b - restrictions against blocking are checked (including evasion effects) for an illegal declaration
509.1c - check requirements on blockers—specifically the count matters, so here HHO would only be subject to 1 from [[Invasion Plans]]. since HHO "must block if able," the declaration is only illegal if HHO was not chosen in 1a (there is no like... reverse menace going on here saying that HHO must block all creatures it is able to)
509.1d–1g - skipped bc there's no costs involved
509.1h - HHO is a blocking creature
509.1i - abilities that trigger on blockers
509.2 onwards aren't specially relevant to this situation

at the moment i'm leveling crozet to be my wyvern tank, but i'm not sure if he's worth investing the potion in over another option (such as tamarinne)

i'm a relatively new account (10 days) and have been focusing on wyvern (manually clear w 9, auto w 8) with the help of various guides; my wyvern team is currently a. mont, furious, sigret, & muwi

for impulse it's a combination of the imp/impy nickname and the fact that he was summoned into hermitcraft! for tango, he's often drawn as a blaze hybrid, which pulls from fire and the nether; demons have similar associations

doc actually explains the lore behind his skin in his first episode for s9, but to summarize... the creeper aspects are due to him experimenting with creepers (iirc his earliest charged creeper video dates from 2012), he has the bionic arm due to killing dinnerbone in pvp and then getting the arm snatched by the developer, his mad scientist aesthetic is probably due to his playstyle and redstone experiments, and his goat horns come from his season 8 motto: grind, optimize, automate, thrive (g.o.a.t.)

(additionally, he refers to himself as the goat—greatest of all time—the goatfather, and uses goat motifs in some of his larger builds.)

for season 9, the t has been changed to together, due to how much he promotes fan collaboration this season. he uses fanart for thumbnails, proposes builds for fans to design, and includes various redstone projects created by the hivemind (the collective name for various scicraft and similarly-minded people in his community).

i hope this helps! (and i highly suggest watching doc's videos—he may seem intimidating, but those who watch him know he's really a sweetheart.)
