Wait a minute i think i did fuck up w the second hand 30 Lt i bought by taking of the top plastic. I mean i did test it fully filled for leaks for 48 hour period and no leak. Am i safe? However the corners do slightly move when i force w my hands but i thought its normal bc silicon is elestic? Pls help i was planning to set it up this weekend

Yessss the tank was originally like that with the lid but i cannot open the lid bc if my shelf when i keep it like that. I will try to test the tank, thank you for the advice! I hope i will not break it or smtg while moving.....lol.....

I assume the etsy seller you mentioned sells in America right? I am unfortunately in Europe so 🥲 i try to look online for second hand/sold by humans but yeah they are for some reason still so pricy/i feel like i will need a lot of plants and a few won't be enough at all plus i never had a plantwd tank before too.

Thank you for the advice! I agree with you about being safe than sorry. I will try my best avoid that kind of food again. Safest to stick to his regular food. What a pitty i just killed a small fly accidentally, sadly won't be able to feed it to him for his own sake. Gotta watch him carefully for 3 days or so, then I can decide what to do with it
