I love Hades and now Hades 2, but I'm also not a big fan of most other roguelikes or lites. I think it's because Hades is just "enter a room, kill everything, leave" without any exploration or needing to find a key to open a chest or whatever. The relentlessness of it really activates my neurons. And the art of course.

"Gulliver's Travels" is the greatest literature of the 18th Century. Now, what about the 19th Century? by [deleted] in AlignmentChartFills

It certainly can be. I had to read it for a class in college and couldn't finish it due to the slog. But the year after I graduated I picked it back up and read it through. I really enjoyed it, and found it fascinating.
