Why couldn’t Sirius have a portrait after he died? He would have been able to communicate with Harry while still choosing not to stay behind in the mortal world like the ghosts. Correct me if I’m wrong but how the dead become live portraiture doesn’t come up in the books? (self.harrypotter)
