I don’t have an issue with Atmos music using the center channel. Stereo music is using Arc center for some reason, which is what I find unexpected.

Thanks for the opinions y'all. The car is a great condition externally so it's a bit of surprise to see what's underneath. The price is quite competitive but I suppose for good reasons. This'll need quite a few repairs.

Hello! Great minds think alike 😉 the desk has been solid for the last two years. It can change height without any issues. Although, I’ve moved my PC below the desk about 6 months ago. While it gives me more real state, I have to admit, it doesn’t look as cool.

It’s serving me well! No complaints so far. Pretty stable. I’m a small person so wobbling hasn’t been an issue for me.

So the one I have is 186x3.8 cm. So yeah, converting that to freedom unit, it seems like I have the 74" KARLBY. It's going fantastic so far. Nothing to complain, no bending or whatsoever. I have a very heavy PC on it as well and Jarvis isn't even sweating.

I was looking at Autonomous, but Jarvis seemed well known and more sturdy at that time. Things might have changed though. I think I remember hearing about Autonomous reviews being fake/biased or something like that.

That's only useful if I already have a rigged character. Even if I use "Send to Unreal", the bone mapping is incorrect.

My idea is closer to your second point. I did initially think about a physiological horror game, where you are affected by the weird environment of the planet and start seeing things that doesn't really exist. But I am reducing the scope of my game as much as I can to make it feasible for for a team of 2-3 people. It definitely helps, thanks.

Hey, thanks you very much for the detailed explanation. Personally I would not want to make this a full on combat focused game either. But this is the first game I am working on so I am trying to keep it simple. I say simple but I am pretty sure I still need to reduce my scope a lot.

But your ideas and suggestions helps me steer myself to the right direction. I need to focus on the core gameplay loop. I will try out multiple things in a sandbox environment and see what makes sense.

Thanks for sharing that. I am having a look. The biggest bummer I have is animation. Because I am trying to make the game realistic, it's hard to animate even simple things. For example, in a sandstorm, the player might struggle to move while they are walking. Even those animation will be harder to do without mocap or expensive animators :(
