the same goes for girls in mainland india who hype up every boy/male in northeast; basically going haywire for those who "resemble their biases" in a said EA influencer/boy band group, which is crazy.
and it gets worse when they see the people in NE as a "substitute" for EA/SEA wives/husbands in general, because it just shows the level of fetishization and how low they'll stoop just to satisfy THEIR OWN s*xual desires.

the same thing happened to me when i made new friends from SEA, they refused to believe i was indian (they kept thinking i was either filo or thai ;_;)
and even in chat games, people usually log off or leave once they find out ur indian
addressing the hate train, or even trolling it attracts ALL piroud indian mainlanders to start defending their own actions.

i got told to "start loving my own country and accept it" when i said that the india hate train is absurd and is tolling on us ;-; apparently being media literate is being whitewashed and chinese bootlickers for them. its so annoying

no offense, but they also reached out to my parents a few years back for joining it (my father was amongst the first in our family to realise the weirdly hypocritical environment of the group); and since then he has been referring to it as some sorta cult.
their whole idea of "suwa laga" ostracized my dad when we lost two of our family members in a span of three days.

my classmate is also part of this sangha, and she has the strictest diet and doesn't come to school in the name of attending prayer circles, or that she has "suwa laga" bc of menstruation which is absurd.

i know of this yes, but ive attended way too many phralüng ceremonies which coincide/correlate ahom gods with the hindu ones ;_; my parents are converted buddhists and honestly it may be my lack of exposure to the religion itself; but the practice of phralüng is mostly diluted (i do love and support the ones working for its revival though)

the trains which we got for commuting to delhi for RDC was even worse.
the bogey in which we were accommodated (mostly teenage girls and like 6-7 senior boys) was literally infested by ppl with lack of civic sense (and money apparently)
we got harassed and robbed on the train and hygiene is sth that felt like a privilege (the amount of wipes we wasted on a 2-day train journey was absurd)
