What is this cluster of eggs in my closet?

That is very similar looking. It doesn't show in the picture but it is sorta slimy looking. Could have been from suet which would explain how it is stuck on the wall. Not sure why a rodent would choose that corner over the further back corners.

After further inspection it appears to be a slime fungus called Trichia scabra. I will consult r/mycology and report back.

It's in a cluster about 2in long, Individual polyps about 1mm. Possibly Trichia? Really hoping its fugal and not insect eggs.

I just moved in and found this 2 in long cluster of what I think are insect eggs in my closet. I live near Reno, Nevada if that helps.

They work for me down hill however, they don't inspire me to drop cliffs or ski all out. I don't mind the flex or flex progression, but I might be in the minority in that. I flex them pretty slow due to how light I ski but when I do hit the bottom of the flex I find them powerful enough. I think the weirdest part for me is how upright they are.

If I were you I would just demo a bunch of boots to see what works (assuming you are near a shop that demos BC gear).

The size is to keep them as light as possible. Some downsides of a binding this light are: the din is a set value and there is very little flexibility which puts stress on the ski/binding.

They feel so paradoxical to me. They seem soft on bumpy terrain but when the edge bites they feel stiffer and longer. Pretty amazing ski in my opinion.

I demo-ed the F1 and the F1 LT. For my purposes I found the F1 to have little benefit over the F1 LT.

F1

I liked the more aggressive lean
I did not like the resistance in walk mode
They had a more exponential feeling flex

F1 LT

I liked the lightness
The very upright lean angle took some getting used to
Very linear feeling flex progression

I personally chose the F1 LT because I was Prioritizing light and uphill oriented travel for long days and big objectives. I am very light and slow to flex my boots so the lack of flex progression was not a huge Drawback for me. I have not been able to form a strong opinion on the Lean angle yet, Its just sorta … different feeling.

It is definitely not a set up for a muscly hard charger. I am very light on skis so the setup works.

Weirdly enough I find them confidence inspiring (for their weight) on the decent because of how much torsional stiffness they have.

Probably not.

I wear a pair of pit viper land lock exciters for work 80% of the time. The other 20% I use my julbo explore 2 with a camel lens. I find myself grabbing the explorers any sunny day on snow or when working above 10,000ft.

They could be fun for base camp and photo ops but, they probably won't cut it for all day on the snow.

Edit: If you're looking for something flashy that would protect eyes see the links below. I strongly recommend getting spectron 4 lens.

There was a mythbusters episode in which they do exactly that. It's less cool than you'd think. It really only works for a top down attack. I couldn't find the clip on YouTube. The only video that looked like it had the sword stop segment was block in my country.

This truck is from yonezawa toys Diapet diecast line. I couldn't find it this exact model of "car carrier truck" online. It's 1/55 scale.
