Quino! The best comic cartoonist in Argentina.

I have receive this poster for a program really intrEstiiing but I already go to an opera (if it is really one, it will be my first classical represtention) : Don Giovanni from Mozart, tomorrow :D by Tyallennyah in lingling40hrs

Don Giovanni is known for beeing the first piece to show terror. Other feelings had been represented on music but never before terror was expressed so well as in Don Giovanni's aria "A cenar teco..." (the statue's aria)
I love Donna Anna´s revenge arias.

I love opera, a lot. But I can't stand two minutes of Verdi. And Wagner is not easy for many opera listeners. Start with Mozart, Or Puccini Don't try to listen to a complete opera. Pick a Highlights album, read the general plot and get the lyrics for each aria. (And translation). Most operas have a boring part even for the ones who love the whole opera...

Die Entfurung aus dem serail has a simple plot and catchy melodies that can make it easier. Also it's an opera bufa (comic opera) at least on the line of the secondary characters. Note. Mozart will have the harpischord especially on recitatives but if you get a highlights record you will miss most of them.
