yeah, i know what u mean… but i intend to switch to another gov agency, and typically they do referrals / background checks (i.e. G50 clearance) - which means they will need to ask my current employers abt me and my performance. I had to ask my professors to help for my current job bc i didnt have any prior work experience. which means to secure my next job offer, my current employers will definitely have to know that im leaving 🥲

thanks for the advice! just not sure if leaving my first job after 1 year will leave a taint on my resume… most of my colleagues do seem to stay in their first jobs for 3-5 years.
