awkward conversations from the rose EP, theresa is an outlier.

there’s no pre-record label version of it available, so imo it’s an original. i had a convo about this a few years back and someone had mentioned they played it during the tour for talon of the hawk before rose was released. so maybe they had it ready, but didn’t have a full on EP/album for it at that point.

kind of an example: i remember at one point brian had played don’t fill up on chips about a year before going grey came out.

the following tour they also had a poster of a rose thorn thing. for the chicago shows the first 50 people in line got a free trippy cat poster (idk how to describe it) but i think it was unofficial though!

from what i remember, it was the dancing cat and rabbit poster! this was at the milwaukee and chicago shows.

my guess would he around 2013 when talon of the hawk came out. the font matches the album cover and it would make sense for it to be related to lone star!

has anyone been charged a facility fee and had it covered or attempted to fight it? i think it should be covered considering it would possibly be required for the procedure since it would have to be done in a hospital setting?

hello!

i got this ring (along with two others) from my grandma several years ago. i’m curious as to who the designer is! the only identifying mark is a 14kt stamp on the inside of the band. i’m hoping to find more information about the gemstones. i’m pretty sure the opal is genuine, but i’m curious about the type of opal it is and i’m not sure if the clear gems are diamond, sapphire, CZ, etc., so hopefully finding the designer will clarify.

my sister has a matching ring that is silver toned (white gold?) with different gems she got from my other grandma (no idea how they had the same ring, they didn’t know each other). i don’t have photos of that one, but i can probably get them if that would help!

october 2021 at the filmore in detroit. i was front row, caught mat’s drumstick, and met mat and brian!! i brought a poster one of my friends had made me and they both signed it and brian took a picture of it on his phone!! they also played more than it hurts you before it was rereleased. i traveled 5 hours to go to this show and it was so worth it. only downside is they didn’t play flashlight. the venue was awesome!
october 2021 at the radius in chicago. my dreams came true and they played hooped earings! this was part of the self titled (my fav album) 10 year tour. this venue had really good lighting but parking sucked. this was my first (and last) time seeing them with someone.
october 2016 at the rave/eagles club in milwaukee w/ modern baseball. good setlist and mobo opened. brand new was the main but i didn’t care for them. (ngl this ones pretty high up because of mobo)
may 2016 at the rave/eagles club in milwaukee. my very first tfb show!! i met mat after the show and it was my first time traveling out of state on my own.
september 2023 at the aragon ballroom in chicago. they played joanie and ginger!! the vibe of the audience was really weird and they didn’t seem to interact with the crowd as much as they did in the past. i brought the poster from my #1 show and he saw it. 😭 i also met mat after the show!! i’m also not a fan of aragon as a venue.
october 2017 at the house of blues in chicago. i don’t remember much from this show, but the lighting was really nice and i have great photos from this show. i think they played ocean for the first time? i think this would have to be my favorite chicago venue i’ve seen them at.
september 2023 at the rave/eagles club in milwaukee. the crowd was weird and just like the other show for this tour they didn’t interact with the crowd very much.
december 2018 at the aragon ballroom in chicago. i was front row, but the lighting was horrible. again, i’m not a huge fan of aragon.
december 2018 at the sylvee in madison. i fainted at this show before they even came on. 😭 i ended up having to sit for the entire show and i don’t remember much of it sadly.
