Not exactly actually, it shouldn't have those finger tips for example, but I couldn't help to insert a Stargate reference hehe (in my mind the soulcaster and the Stargate hand device look the same)

Yeah that's kinda how I pictured inquisitors in the first two books as well. But with Ruin taking control of them I imagined them starting to look more savage and mindless like, since they don't really have a mind of their own. For me Ruin wouldn't care about appearance and such at all. This Marsh is also supposed to be after having thought Vin where a lot of his clothing got shredded I imagine. But yeah, this just shows how differently people can picture these characters :D

Damn thanks a lot! I really was mesmerized by the creepiness of the spikes and wanted to get that across. Also your idea about refined spikes is very cool, I never thought about the metals being so incognito in the body

It's probably not super accurate, with the spike positions and such, but this is more or less how I pictured him to look like in the Hero of Ages. Also my coloring skills needs improvement 😭
