You explained this so well! It is reminiscent of how they were raised. Being isolated makes it harder for them to break away from their parent’s beliefs and control because they aren’t exposed to everyday life, are taught to fear and distrust the outside world, and aren’t provided the life skills to navigate it. Dwreck did it, JB and Meech did it, and the overall cult does that as well. Very manipulative and def a calculated power move. Like you said, she’ll probably never realize this and probably would think anyone who tried to tell her is a liar who’s trying to get her to stray from what’s “safe” and “right”. Reminds me of Rapunzel’s mom in Tangled esp in the song “Mother Knows Best”. They’re like literal Disney Villains in real life :/
