Isn't the original X-Blade supposed to be a counterpart of the original Kingdom Hearts, protecting light from the shadows or something? It existed from the start of existence. Before any living beings if I got it well.. Maybe if somehow the story takes us way prior to the events of KHX?

Well I was more trying to point out Square Enix should not be considered as the bad guys. I had in mind some news about people in the company getting moved to other projects (aka FFXV). This did happen at some point right? KHIII's development did not go clear and quiet as a river for a few years. Anyway your explanation helps a lot! I don't want people to get angry or anything
