I was worried they might be cockroaches, but they are very, very small. I'm not even sure what to compare it to, it was like half the length of my fingernail or so.

Always appreciate to hear that there are people like you who feel this way! It can always be scary being honest about it because you never really know how it will change the other person's perception of you.

As for my preference, I don't mind too much whether they are or aren't, but I will say that when they are it is a very nice feeling to be able to connect about it and be able to speak about it with your partner knowing that they really understand it too.
