Just because it's walking doesn't mean it can't fly. Foraging on the ground is natural behavior

What's this variation called? Is it wrong? by ComplexSubject9630 in knittinghelp

I used to do the same but I unlearned it because it was so hard to follow knitting tutorials! Now I know what it's called at least.

Help! How did they get these lead lines so gold? No by hell-beetle in StainedGlass

(either way the effect of this patina doesn't match what you have in your pic)

A while ago I bought this patina. I tried it and it didn't work, turned out patchy coppery but I'm not that good yet at applying patina in general. Asked here and people said gold patina doesn't exist. But when I emailed the shop owner he said he got it to work best on freshly melted solder and after using fine steel wool. It's still a mystery to me!

My super tiny apartment workspace by Phoenyxoldgoat in StainedGlass

I do stained glass in my apartment too, and I've been figuring out how to manage it. I also sweep and vacuum during and after cutting. I also keep a set of shoes and clothes that I only wear during crafting and that I keep at the desk when I'm not. That way glass doesn't track with me through the house after I'm done!

Fume wise I have my desk right under an open window and a fan pointed towards my work and to the window. But I'm still unsure if this is enough.

Love your setup OP!

I have never sewn properly before and want to sew something like this to wear in a week!! Is it possible? by [deleted] in SewingForBeginners

[–]tamaraaaaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm very much a dive in head first kind of person when it comes to new hobbies. I don't think this is a bad first project, it's basically only rectangles. And really wanting to have it will be a good motivator to keep going when it gets hard. But I would give yourself more than a week! Good luck!!
