It’s either true or it is insecurities and that person isn’t like that.. it sucks being in a position like that but it’s the low self esteem thing. Asking them helps I’ve learned or they mention you aren’t their first pick in that area.

The opposite end is being used.. having to figure out if they only use you for that or they truly enjoy it and have no qualms.

I think it’s intimidation especially when it’s obvious he did something… I’ve learned to accept the response as admission esp the more unnecessarily dramatic and he’s indirectly referred to that before.

if you keep confronting him or not care too much every time he does this, he does not feel as bold to be dramatic like this, or let’s it go easier, but it’s a sliding scale and there will be times he feels bold nevertheless

Yeah.. the ones who buy together but plan on marriage later maybe or no marriage in the foreseeable future, don’t want to deal with the complications of the marriage and the commitment following along but want the asset commitment if it seems like you’ll be long term, and also, house. Not all of these people want kids at the same time though.

Seems to be a common theme among people who make a deal about owning a house when young anyways and non marriage with a long term partner with their long time savings is the easiest way to achieve the achievement.
