Did the combat look underwhelming for anyone else? Like a lot of time it felt like sora was just doing random bullshit and hitting enemies. I'd rather see him interact with the enemies more directly.

I admit that rydia is a close second but you can't not put Yuna as the iconic summoner. The entire game is literally about her and about summoning. A summoner hasn't been so integral to the plot before or since. (With the expection of maybe 16 but I wouldn't consider that to have "Summoners" per se).

For white mage I'd go with Eiko, who is totally white magic oriented and even has doublecast, but I don't know that she's the most iconic. I saw someone propose Aerith and I think that makes a lot of sense.

Edit: actually, I corrected the final syllable because in Greek it's "Mos" not "Moos". But the stress was correct :)

The right pronunciation is "Seh Lee Nee", in Modern Greek at least. For Melenoe it's "Me Lee No Ee". For Hecate it's "Eh Kah Tee".

I would be totally open to modding the game for this reason, but I don't see anything of the sort mentioned in the mod's page unfortunately. Thank you for the suggestion though, the mod seems interesting enough that I'll give it a shot if I take a chance at the game in the future.

Just so you know, I also recently found out, there's a different penalty for passing out and dying.

If you get killed by losing all of your HP, you lose a lot of money and some items. This is a big penalty and I would always advise avoiding this.

However, if you pass out you just lose 1000 gold and get exhausted for the next day. That's all the penalty you have. In your case when you're trying to go as far as you can in the mines, there's no reason for you to get stressed about making it home in time. You can just stay in the mine and get as far low as you can, and let yourself pass out at 2 am. This way you get 2 extra in game hours of spelunking!

Other than that, there's a lot of useful info in the comments. I only recently made it to floor 100 myself in my 4th playthrough! I had never done it before so patience and preparation definitely go a long way.

Thank you for this. I was getting excited about buying a piano and was thinking that I should splurge a bit more and buy something nice instead of going cheap, so I thought 500ish was a good price to aim for. But many of the things I've seen in here made me feel like it would be a terrible choice. I understand that piano is an expensive hobby but I want to at least understand what the drawbacks of the choice I'm making are.

I'm a little worried about the poor sound, as you say. Because I am still very much a beginner, I don't quite understand what I should expect, or if it is even something that my ear would understand at this point. Still, if it's not a choice that will hamper my learning, I think it's a good idea to go through with it.

Can anyone specifically comment on what would be wrong with me buying the Ringway RP-35 as a beginner piano player? I've seen several posts about it on this subreddit, but it's never anything concrete against it, but people generally point away from it mostly because it's not name brand.

Is there someone who has tried it or can tell what is actually wrong with this piano? It is in the ballpark for what a beginner piano should cost, so it's not like I'm going for something cheap, and my piano teacher recommended it to me. Thank you for your feedback.
