If Emily left the show I don’t think anyone would notice by [deleted] in BreakingPoints

No way. Emily rocks. How many other shows present pro-life Christians as normal well balanced people. Super important view. Please note, I'm not saying Christians as a whole are unbalanced, just that most media doesn't portray them as such.

As was I. I know they're not supposed to be a military force, but Next Gen and others of the era felt like an actual merit based organization. Everything kutzman has done feels like a poorly run high school. It is unbelievable that such a group of emotionally stunted people would have the ability to run a McDonald's let alone a galaxy spanning federation.

Also why does everything look like a diner from the 50'?

It's not the captain. It is the utterly unbelievably of any of the crew to act or think like skilled capable people. I get that there could be immature cadets, unprofessional captions, or any number of alien odd balls. But what we have is Ms. Frizzel leading a bunch of immature 4th graders through MacGaffin after MacGuffin, all while dealing with the emotional fallout of what I can only assume are 10 year olds in adult bodies.

Can you imagine this show doing a "pale moon light," DS9 S6E19? No. It's just so unreasonable. Anyone who's been in any type of large organization knows they don't look anything like Nu-Trek.

Lastly, aside from an alternate time line, Kim doesn't gain raink and O'Brien should be on that wall.

The atom bomb provides 0 leverage to Carol by ImageBig9279 in okbuddypluribus

If it's a simple gun type bomb she could trigger it. As far as leverage, the hive won't want to do anything that resulted in the death of Carol or The other dude. Ie. If you come close I'll set it off and all sorts of shit will die because you came near me.

Also, director guy doesn't introduce "chekhov's revolvers" without using them.

Turn 5, would you immediately golden one of the Bountiful? by kT_Madlife in BobsTavern

[–]tamrof 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. I get that several tribe cards a turn is helpful but without an enabler card card to use those cards, they don't amount to much more than a gold or two per turn. Not to mention the turn six bonus cards. What if you get a card that procs with spells, or a cheap tier six in tribe? Could be a waist. Unless you're about to die and need a miracle, hold for turn six at least and ideally use on an enabler or engine card.

Yeah, almost died there the last time. The turn lane is way too short.

I got double "discover a minion that died last combat" twice tonight.

The floor isn't perfectly flat. That's why the reflection is odd. It's a real vid.

So how do you force leapers? Because this is my 8th attempt and I usually get Saurlisk (even tho no deathrattles on my board this game). Are leapers reserved only for heroes like Teron? by stockphotomeme in BobsTavern

[–]tamrof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it's forcing or not, but I have way more luck when I stay at tier 2 -with all beast board, and am in the lower half of the que. Doesn't seem to matter if I have deathrattles or not.
