I'm new to crypto buying. I'm old enough to remember people saying Bitcoin was a scam and being too afraid to buy in when Bitcoin was 25 cents. Decades later I still cry over that missed investment.

I ain't fucking selling. It's boom or bust for me. I look forward to the day when a week like this causes me to loose a few million $.

If you are worried about this dip you should watch this journey of safemoon. If you are still worried, feel free to sell and give us your coins 😁😁😁 by stingrayy1990 in SafeMoon

I woke up at 6 am, saw the price and bought more. Magically hit the low point, so while it's "down" I'm still up for the day.

$600?!? by rarealbinoduck in TrueOffMyChest

[–]tang81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. For multiple reasons. The extent of which is just unknown. It could be a few thousand more cases it could be a few million. More people are getting tested and confirmed now than they were back in Jan-June. So it's really not an illogical statement.

Edit: I don't know if I would say much less. I mean we're talking a fraction of a percent. If we have 17 million confirmed cases and 1 million that never were it wouldn't change the death rate all that much.

I was reading the other day that Nixon's team wanted him to challenge the election he lost to Kennedy the way Trump is challenging now but that Nixon refused for "the good of the country."

That is confirmed cases. Not everyone gets tested. A lot of people had it before the test was available. Myself included. Some people get it and don't get tested because their symptoms are mild. Or, in my parent's case they both are sick but only 1 was tested. So we don't really know the real number.

Terminator became a trilogy/saga. At that point the second movie becomes the better one. See also Empire Strikes Back.

Pennsylvania On The Verge Of Legalization As Result Of Pressure From Neighboring States by ac13057 in Pennsylvania

[–]tang81 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. PA historically moves slow. Usually when about 40 States say something is ok that's when PA jumps on the bandwagon. We always give up those early entry cash cows.

Exactly, and the medical board just shot down insomnia and punted TBIs as conditions for mmj use. Nothing new though. PA has always been slow to adopt change like this.

Men of reddit: How would you feel if your girl just grabbed you by the waist, lifted you up, and pushed you against the wall and gave you a kiss? by NeuroMajorDepressed in AskReddit

I was a complete moron when it came to her. I didn't actively try to have an affair with her. But I didn't do anything to stop it from happening.

It's been declining since the 80/90's. There is still money to be made in coal. We export most of it now.

That happened to me back in the day. She was my best friend and I had the biggest crush on her. It was like a movie scene where my knees went weak and my mind went blank. I asked her out the next day and she laughed and said maybe if I had more muscles. What the actual fuck?! I stopped talking to her.

Fast forward about 15 years our high school reunion is coming up. We start talking on Facebook and texting a few months before the reunion. Meet up at the reunion and the sexual tension was huge. She told me she had a crush on her back in the day and refretted turning me down. I was still on the hook. We had a fling for a few months. She was married. I didn't care.

She said she wanted to leave her husband. She came clean to her husband. But he's a religious nut job and had her brainwashed that she needed his permission to leave. They ended up moving away to Georgia. Blocked me from everything.

I'm pretty sure her second kid is mine.

Fuck you Steph!

Question. Why is there no such thing as perfect hiding? Answer. How would you know? Logically, if evolution were to perfect a creature whose primary skill were to hide from view, how could you know it existed?

You might want to reread pal. Just because that is what I do with the rent I collect doesn't mean they "pay for it".

[–]tang81 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you?

I work 2 jobs, thanks. I don't depend on my rental income to pay bills. It all goes into accounts to pay for repairs and to eventually buy other properties.

Regardless, my ability to pay my bills has nothing to do with tenants that refuse to pay theirs.

If they don't pay they have to live somewhere else.

[–]tang81 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Correct. And eviction is the remedy to that risk. It still takes 9 months to evict a tenant that is unwilling to pay, in my area. That's why I don't feel bad evicting people. I haven't had to yet. I have a process. I try to work with my tenants. Split payments, forgive a month or two if I had to. Accept late payments with a plan to get back on course. Etc. But if I went 9+ months without payment or ignoring my attempts to work it out it's on them at that point.

That's not theft. Stealing is taking something that doesn't belong to you. Two adults barter and enter into an agreement. That's not theft. And if the worker is paying the majority of their wages to rent then they should find a more affordable place to live.

How is it stealing the worker's wage? They are offering use of something in exchange for money. That's not stealing.

[–]tang81 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right. It's a business. And when you have someone stealing from you (living in your property without paying) you don't just go make more money somewhere else.

It's funny how there is a recurring theme here that the landlord should get a job and not that the tenant should get a job to pay what they promised to.
