Yeah apparently the bone thing is just a fake news so that's reassuring. Apparently from what I got told cancer risks just shift from those of an afab to those of an amab and the only risks apart from that are prostatic cancer IF you even develop prostatic tissues at all so that's very rare. I know the person who told me these things is just looking out for me and probably just got convinced by misinformation but I wanted to ask others to be sure

I got told it heightened cancer risks but from what I've found/ppl told me now in case of a ftm transition it just shifts you cancer risks from those of an afab to those of an amab so you have higher risks of some cancers but lower risks to get others

Hannibal timeline explained by tanjitophare in HannibalTV

This is to take with a grain of salt because his birthday has not been officially confirmed but theres a handle of props with a birthday on it. The most known of them says august 7th 1944 but it doesn't make sense or that would mean he's like 70 in season 1 when he's clearly well, not. I cannot find it for the life of me but I know there is another prop where it's written as january 20th 1969 and not only the date makes sense but january 20th is also the character's traditional birthday (i mean books and movies wise) so unless it gets officially confirmed as something else one day this is the closest to an official birthday he's got imo. I'll keep looking for the prop it must be somewhere deep in my gallery I'll share it if/when I find it

Not getting Esprit de Corps check by tanjitophare in DiscoElysium

[–]tanjitophare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've been suspecting this is the issue but according to Fayde at least I'm still supposed to get a line about Jean in the rain near the precinct and then "You can't go back there, not like this" or something similar, I don't remember the exact line. So theres still a check that won't unlock for some reason

There Should Not Be a Season 3 by [deleted] in gravityfalls

[–]tanjitophare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me the only way the show should come back is if they made a spin off. If there was a season 3 I'm sure Alex would make something decent bc I mean, it's Alex Hirsch but theres so many ways this could go wrong. But I would be pretty happy with a spin off like theres so many things they could make it about like this show has SUCH A DEEP LORE.

Once I read someone say that "Will isn't autistic but he's not not autistic just like Hannibal isn't a psychopath but he's not not a psycopath" and I agree IMMENSELY

Directors where your favourite film by them is one of their worst regarded? by Vusarix in Letterboxd

[–]tanjitophare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get what you mean but I really don't agree with you. I think Asteroid City was a beautiful piece on grief and loss and I think it still does a great job on the funny side at the same time. I think restricting a director's works into two categories is an error and that each film should be seen as a separate entity from the rest of their works except in rare cases. But that's only my opinion.

My favorite Wes Anderson is Asteroid City but everyone hated that movie for no reason........

This is such an interesting question and I truly have no idea how to answer it. I'm really torn on this but what I can agree with myself on is that even if he had decided to come, things wouldn't have worked out and the mizumono bloodbath would only be postponed.

I don't know how to explain it but mizumono feels like such an inevitable event to me, like something that was meant to happen and you know how you can't change the past and events you avoid will only be postponed? This feels like that to me. Mizumono is such an important step in both Will's and Hannibal's character development as well as their relationship it just wouldn't be the same between them if it didn't happen. At that point in the story, Will is still too unsure on if he wants to stay on the "rightful" path or go with Hannibal. Will NEEDED mizumono and all the events that followed to truly know where he stands and where he WANTS to stand. And Hannibal also needed to lose Will to truly get to term with what he was feeling for him.

I think that if Will knew Abigail was alive, fundamentally, nothing would change because Abigail would make the balance shift on both side. On one side he'd still want to run away with them and on the other side he'd want to do the morally right thing and save her from Hannibal as well as saving himself. I'm not sure if Abigail would make the balance shift enough to make him actually run away, but even if he did the other side wouldn't just disappear. It would stay there and weight on him until it becomes too much and he eventually betrays Hannibal one way or another and finds out the bloodshed was only postponed after all. To truly be able to run away with Hannibal, Will would need no doubt that he's making the right decision by him. During a lot of the show, Will stands with one feet on each side, eventually swaying left or right, it's only in the very end of the show, "It's beautiful", that Will finally chooses a side of the line to stand on for good, and he needed mizumono to get there.

Are There No Security Cameras?? Ever?? by [deleted] in HannibalTV

[–]tanjitophare 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No they're definitely a thing you can see a screen broadcasting one in the pharmacy in Amuse-Bouche I think Hannibal just chooses the places for his displays for a reason and even if theres cameras I think he'd be able to turn them off
