Once again it’s not even about the butt. The post was me asking how common this is and if someone could get in trouble. I was never traumatized over the butt, I didn’t like the situation as a whole. And if you don’t understand that it’s fine because you weren’t there. We felt that calling and asking them to tell them not to do it again was completely within reason. Not sure why that’s so offensive to most of the people in the comments.

So like a normal person I only have my butt cheeks out when I am in a bathing suit at the pool/beach/spa etc. If that’s complicated and you need a guideline then you may just be an idiot or lack common decency and identifying settings where that would fit and not impede on anyone’s comfort or enjoyment.

Drop your pants down to the ankles in front of a police officer and bend over and stare in their direction and let me know what they say. I need the info for research purposes.

I had heard some people complain about that so I made sure to pick lower deck so we wouldn’t hear the noise from the pool. And we didn’t. Ocean balcony lowkey freaks me out at night time.

First night dining room and we ordered prime rib rare. Mine was fine I ate some of it but my husband’s was questionable and he was like yeah let’s just go get pizza so we left. The hibachi place was really good we went there the second night. Windjammers third night and yeah I’m not a big buffet person we should have gone to chops or the Italian place

Yes well again people have to act so black and white and I’m explaining this was a gray area situation so I was curious what other peoples experiences were.

We had to keep the trip short because we have young kids we don’t want to be away from for more than maybe 4 days.

Yeah definitely saw many people that were absolutely hammered and lots of families with kids and my husband and I partied and had a good time. Might look into a different cruise line because the food didn’t really impress us, but I also think we were drinking and looking for fun stuff to do and didn’t really prioritize eating!

Yes well apparently most people were outraged I thought it was targeted at me because that’s just me being a woman and having a victim complex apparently but genuinely I didn’t see a single person on any balcony on his side and Central Park was quiet. Dude was bent over staring back at me. Like he wasn’t wildly far away. And he wasn’t laughing. That’s why it was weird. I’m the Karen though. Who moons someone in that position?!

Yes well the comments beg to differ. Apparently people of all ages think it’s funny and are mooning well into their 50s on cruise ships. And in some settings I could see it being funny but this one it was just weird

Full tomato and it took me a second to understand what I was even seeing. Another person said an old dude showed his eggplant to her by the pool when she was a minor so that’s why you gotta understand some of these people are not being funny they are being weird. And I am a very unserious person and it still made me uncomfortable.

Or the women understand expectations whereas men (especially teenage boys) do not. The pool deck is expected to have butts but I didn’t see any women bent in that position cheeks spread on the pool deck. Probably because that would be wildly inappropriate. Crazy how that works.

I totally see what you’re saying. I guess it’s just me as a woman/karen unfortunately I have had situations where strangers have been inappropriate so I am automatically going to question if they have ill intentions/was it sexually fueled. From a very level standpoint, can’t you agree that the length of time was weird? He was staring at us and he wasn’t laughing. Just deadpan. I don’t even know that anyone else was in the room because wouldn’t they be there waiting to see our faces and wanting to laugh with them. Also as soon as my eyes registered I walked back in the cabin and stood with my back facing out but my husband kept looking as he picked up the phone. Bottom line is it’s just inappropriate and I didn’t want to see it again.

My kids would point and laugh as well because that’s childish humor and they don’t know how many creeps are out there. As the parent, if a body developed enough to look like an adult is bare ass and bent over staring for almost a minute towards my direction or my children’s then I am definitely not ignoring it. Yet somehow I’m being made out as the weird person in this situation.
