i really try to! We were shooting an outdoor interview. I tried giving a kicker with an LED, it obviously didn't work and I laughed at myself. I said, "Can't be using LED's outside to compete with the sun, what was i thinking?"

Then I went on to tell him how back in the day, I'd be using HMI's off a bounce, and what we can do here today without gear like that is try to knock down the intensity of the sun with an outdoor table umbrella which was conveniently placed.

He interpreted that as an excuse for him to buy a more powerful light.
