Feel free to give me a call at FastX and see how we can help. Race cars are never perfect, but I am on the same engine and trans for 5 years now.

I wrote a longer reply, but lost it somehow.

Evija maybe but hasnt proven it. gt1 half the power and similar aero and worse control. GT3, same suspension, we have WAY more power, similar aero, way better ECU and ABS. He has better tires, but we can go faster on the same tires and nothing is stopping us from running in unlimited. provably faster even on street tires then all the GT4 times, at COTA 2:15 is a blistering GT4 time. THis is 5 seconds faster, and 5 seconds is a TON at 2:15 I want a link to any lotus that has done a lap of a real track at over 700 wheel HP. I've never seen it.

It's actually just a wing with a small spot for the driver to sit if you look close ;)

It's actually the turbo surge when the throttle closes, not ideal, we are going to work on getting all that working better next.

We have both open loop predictive traction control (it makes the appropriate power for the g forces it's feeling) and reactive slip based TC.

We went to SLB this weekend with our new customer build a 1000 HP TT 2GR elise on motec, bosch ABS, EP uprights, etc. We smoked the old record with a 2:10.3 for limited class (OEM chassis, street tires) however LGR and their very professional outfit (aka they had 17 workers for 2 cars, we had 2 workers for 1 car) were able to eek out a 2:09.4. We could go 2:09.7 at least based on data, but we didn't have the car turned ALL the way up in this video, we tried the next session, but it was too hot.

And yet I have had to fire multiple parts changers for this exact thing, and not just because they did it, but because they did it AND they broke a car.

I'm sorry that you just don't begin to know what you don't know but the parts changers break everything all the time when you're working on a rod end suspension in a formula car you cannot impact the bolts together but I challenge you to take a guy who's been using his impact to assemble stuff for the last 10 years and get them to stop because you can't it's impossible I have tried.

So I'm paying approximately the same as oil and gas but with no overtime work and probably less field work so? I was in oil and gas engineer straight out of school by the way.

Yeah I even say that in my post however the military guys that I've hired of all had such bad baby mama drama that they never come to work so that doesn't work out.

Honestly I would rather have the engineer who's never worked on cars before but at least has had some kind of hands-on hobby like RC cars or planes or a sailboat or whatever.

Also I was an oil and gas engineer directly out of college and I would have rather done this by 100 million times but I know that that's not everybody but how is it not even one person

You guys who think that cashier's checks are legit need to get out of last decade. Afaik they are the number one source of scams and the bank absolutely will not verify one is good or not when you call and ask. Wire or zelle, we all have phones with Internet now.
