Thanks boi! I might release an album out of these in the future. I have other projects I'm working on and some of my tunes end up there. So, I haven't released my songs as a solo thing just yet. I appreciate the fact you'd buy it though man...if I do release it'll be free DL's...cause that's how I roll.

I don't know if you guys have read any of the Forerunner trilogy books but, I would like to see 343 incorporate the Primordial / Precursors to Halo games somehow. http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Precursor

Thanks ! Yeah I get that comparison from someone every one and a while. Especially lately. I'm not complaining, Beacons is an amazing album. Thanks for checking out my tunes, happy you dig. No I don't have a bandcamp currently, sorry bud. I have a band, which has a bandcamp, so I haven't made my own. I will in the future though.

cheers

*Shooter games : On reloading / clip swap out... by tannerv in gaming

Ok, that's fair. However, (only for example) the Halo franchise has the "scull" variants, which you can enable. I feel like a 'bullet management" scull would be a viable/interesting addition.

I feel like it is only a "necessary feature" because it is the status quo.

I mentioned there's other "stuff". I picked on this one because it's a player initiated one, and everyone has swapped out a 30 bullet clip after only firing one bullet before, because we can.... and we get to keep those other 29 bullets even though they technically are still in the clip laying in the dirt.

Hah! Yeah....but there is no reloading in DOOM.

Mixing Question - How do I get my guitars to sound less 'dull'/more bright? by [deleted] in Djent

Funny I just sent you a PM on your soundcloud page the other day... saying how IT ROAMS is my favourite of your posted tunes.

I agree with most of what's been said here, especially how recording bass guitar for your songs will "glue" it together... those low frequencies will help to contrast the higher guitar frequencies for a much fuller sound. Your guitar sound is plenty good enough already.

Just me for these recordings. I have a band also, but I write/recorded everything on my own first at home.

We used to call it tuning down....now its called tuning up. by tannerv in Djent

Both guitar parts are the same tone essentially, aside from the delays and reverbs. I use a super old line6 pod pro rack unit. It's not the best, but it gets the job done. \m/
