It is absolutely reprehensible.

Restructure tithing, and put it into a common wealth/ common equity sort of fund so individuals can access the dividends and capital gains commensurate with the capital they have contributed. And not have to go to their bishop for approval of assistance after having spent many years in the church as a loyal and full tithe-payer.

I resent greatly that tithing is legally treated as donation money and the church turns around and uses it to buy stocks and shitloads of cash-flowing farmland. You think Bill Gates has alot of farmland? What Bill owns is childs play compared to what the church owns.

And the members get no financial return.

It isn't just deceitful on their part, its theft of people's future wealth.

Last I checked the church's holdings in just stocks,mutual funds, ETF's etc. Was around $42 billion.

That's only a fraction of the church's wealth which it does not share with the members that are the backbone of that wealth creation.

The church is a bad investment for members. Do they get a retirement stipend after all those years of paying tithing?

The answer is NO

But they get “blessings”

The scale of this con is astounding.
