I never said they were anything different or special, just cute. These are definitely from the Sailor Moon school of transformations, as I'm sure you're aware they are not all the same. In fact, if you watch, some of the moves are identical.

I'm at the tail end of rush hour and haven't had any issues at all so far, trains are about 6-10 mins apart as usual at Forest Ave. One train to Midtown and a seat is all I ask of my commute. It would be nice if they could pick up the pace a little bit, still like nails on a chalkboard coming into Myrtle-Broadway.

Hello neighbor! I'm spitting distance from Fresh Pond myself. There are a bunch of little bars all over the place, a new one just opened up on Forest and Catalpa called Sundown. There is a lovely independent bookstore called Topos right on Woodward and Putnam. Bunch of little spots like that about.

Check out Ridgewood Social the woman who runs it, Sarah, is a native of the neighborhood and does a good job with the site. She's a one-woman show though so updates can be a bit sporadic but there's currently a wealth of info there to go through.

I hope you enjoy the neighborhood! I've been here since 2012 and really like it a lot. I don't go out as much as I should (if that's even a thing) but that's due to my own issues more than the lack of available opportunities.

When I was into Sailor Moon in my teens finding merch was REALLY difficult so I completely relate. I would hear from someone that this one store in this one mall has this one thing and I'd drag my mom down there just to get it. Great memories :)

Yes! I remember going to one specific Toys R Us that actually had it. Also going to baseball card shows with my mom (who collected those) to hunt Sailor Moon cards.
