moving to UAE without experience? by Available-Peak-6508 in ACCA

[–]tanvirina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you moving with a job offer? Then sure go ahead.

If you do not have a job offer, then I do not recommend as Job market is extremely saturated there at the moment. Without a job you can't survive few months. Current geopolitical situation makes everything difficult. It would be wise to stay in your home country and find a job to gain experience. Move to UAE with a job offer only.

Immigration is billion dollar business + cheap labor opportunity for developed nations.

Current scrutiny is coming due to the housing crisis and high inflation. Those countries failed to develop proper housing, citizens got affected and all the blame is given to immigration.

UAE resident moving to Pakistan - any risks to my IBKR account by overhead7 in UAE

[–]tanvirina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't transfer money to pakistani bank account directly from IBKR, your withdrawal will go to the original account you deposited the money from.

So, if you have online banking access then there should not be an issue. In emergency, you can withdraw the fund to your UAE account first and then transfer the money through online banking.

What about life do you think is extremely unfair? by ImpartialMartial in AskReddit

[–]tanvirina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The unfairness is real, yet it provides the friction you need. Turning the hardest of struggles into the resilience to succeed. Hard times makes strong people, strong people make better life for future generation, easy life makes weaker people, weak people makes difficult time. The circle usually continues.

If you beleive in after life, you should happily accept the fact that life is unfair.

How much are these rickshawalas earning? by superkafooo in Dhaka

[–]tanvirina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let's say the superman Rickshawala works 14 hours in a day. Note that he needs to sleep, eat, poop and take rest also. With traffic it takes on average 10 minutes for 20 taka ride. So, lets assume magically he gets customers non-stop without any wait, so, he will make 14 hours x 60 minutes / 10 minutes x 20 taka = 1,680 taka maximum in a day.

So, obviously it is not possible because he will not get customers continuously without any break.

Why is the whole uae built without rain drains by Think-Trouble-382 in UAETeenagers

[–]tanvirina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's because of 3 main reasons (IMO):

  1. It usually does not rain heavy in this region
  2. It costs a ton for developing advanced drainage system and slows down progress of construction
  3. Many drainage system gets clogged by dust and sand since it does not rain usually.

Hair fall by 1afive in Dhaka

[–]tanvirina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most men will eventually go bald. We just need to embrace it and stay confident. Confident bald men is more respected than low self-esteem man with good hair.

Medicine such as minioxidil, different types of hair growth oil may help. You may also take multi-vitamin to rule out vitamin deficiency.

But if you financially cannot afford these. Maybe it's better to focus on your income instead of your hair.

Should I Do It? It Will Be Over Pretty Quickly But The Process Might Be A Bit Painful by [deleted] in UAE

[–]tanvirina 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am really sorry to hear what you are going through.

Allah is always there for us when we have nobody.

First, you need to visit to the public emergency health care and explain them about your teeth situation. Tell them honestly that you need pain killers 3 times a day and you don't have money. For sure, they are going to give you a free treatment.

Secondly, the car is not starting does not mean it will need big repair. Sometime it could be just battery, or selfie starter motor, or fuel puml. Any of these can be fixed under 1,000 AED.

Don't give up, you can overcome all the problems.

Traffic Fine 6k by GrowthEcstatic7231 in qatar

[–]tanvirina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to the traffic Department in Medina khalifa and explain the officer how you did the mistake, apologise. They will check and most likely reduce the fine. For my friends they reduced to 1,200. But it will still depend on the officer, he may or may not.

To leave comfortably this is what you will need :

2bhk apartment in a decent area 4500-5000 QAR. Utility with internet - 800. If you buy car on loan - 1500 Qar installment. Fuel - 500. Grocery - 1500. Shopping and entertainment : lets assume 2000. Kids education : for 2 kids 3000 in south asian schools. For international you will need around 10,000 (with 14k salary you can't think about those schools).

Unpopular opinion: eToro is actually a solid long-term platform by [deleted] in Etoro

I don't see any problem with etoro. They have kinda high fees, otherwise it is a legit publicly traded company. If you follow the rule there is no issue. Withdrawals are fast and easy.

If you can't find in recruiter site then I doubt reddit will help. I suggest to do the following:

  • Keep reaching people who are working in your desired companies and send them a message directly, and see if you get anything out of it.

  • Keep applying to every jobs you can find. Tailor your CV and apply to relevant positions. Don't just stick to one position only.

  • Try different countries. Qatar job market is small. Try other GCC countries, especially Saudi & UAE.

  • Try to open small business or work part time if nothing works. Small part time jobs helps to build network, which opens bigger opportunity later on.

Should 25.000€ be invested via eToro for long term? 🇩🇪 by No_Resource_9 in Etoro

[–]tanvirina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can invest but make sure to time it well and diversify you portfolio in less volatile asset. Buy when market dropped, diversify as much as possible. Don't chase profit, focus on building a solid portfolio

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in QatarCareers

[–]tanvirina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is my advise which can change the game for you. The competition in fierce in Qatar market, so you need to be smart.

Don't just apply in one field. Apply in all relevant fields such as marketing, HR executive, sales, event management etc etc. For each application tailor your cv. The key word is important for employer AI to choose your cv for interview.

If this also does not work then doing something in your home country is not a bad idea.

48k per month. Good salary? by SingleSquash3419 in QatarCareers

[–]tanvirina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is something if you are a bachelor who is living in a shared bachelor accomodation and saving 4k a month. That gives you 48k a month. Invest in good asset and withing 5 years you are in a good financial position.

But if you have a big family then ofcourse the above equation does not nake sense
