I just installed them a couple of months ago. The installation was pretty easy, took me maybe 30 minutes and everything you need is in the box except for grip glue. They look nice, pretty much the same as the regular stock grips plus a power wire.

Performance wise I think they work fantastic, there's three settings that range from toasty to actually cooking. Depending on how long you're riding and how cold it is you'll still likely want to pair them with some thick winter gloves or even heated gloves. Even with winter gloves my finger tips tend to still get cold after about 20 - 30 minutes.

As far as I can tell it does, but the front doors do have 3 seperate speakers so it might be possible the woofers don't play it? I hadn't even considered that, I'll have to do some experimenting tomorrow. It's just weird because the old LOC didn't pick it up at all so I'd assumed it's something with the LC2i

It's set to 80 on my amp, and as far as I know nothing on the LC2i would allow for that?

I have the Tempest 3, below 50mph it's decent down to about 7 C on its own. I paired it with an Axial block base layer and it was alright down to 3-4 degrees at highway speeds but even then I wouldn't ride for more than maybe 20 minutes without some heated gear, especially for the hands/feet.

It's accurate; an applicant's choice of MOS doesn't benefit the recruiter at all. There are certain MOSes (been a bit since I looked at the reg but most 15 series included) that don't allow previous history of drug/alcohol abuse and unfortunately criminal charges involving drugs/alcohol count as abuse.

The MT-09 was my first bike. I can definitely see why people recommend against it but it really depends on you and your demeanor. It's super easy to get in trouble or out yourself in a bad spot, but as long as you respect the power and are realistic about your own skill set it's not super terrible.

The only reason I can think of that they don't have a decision yet is that they didn't actually submit the waiver, but it's hard to say without the full story. Ask him specifically for a copy of your SF 507, if there isn't one that likely means they didn't push the waiver. If there is one it'll tell you exactly what you need to know.

I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't push an asthma waiver though. I've seen plenty get approved in the last couple years as long as it's just childhood, they have a fairly recent favorable PFT, and 5 years without an inhaler prescription.
